  • So Dave your still in Perry and working the farm. I remember visiting your farm when your dad was running the show. I was in your grade for a few years when I lived in Perry. My father ran Champion and my brother was center on the basketball team.

    Now here is something you might find interesting, I work for DFA MAC Colorado. I pick up Brad Pickert's place everyday. He know's Arney Dupinguiser. If you figured out who this is drop me a line sometime.

  • @TheOmegaMan1976 thank you very much for the reply, I am dairy farming in the Uk and I'm quite sure BMR is not available to us

  • @geniusmasterclass BMR is brown midrib corn, it is highly digestible, but has lower yield per acre than regular corn silage. I go to Morrisville State College and we use it at the Dairy Complex. It also makes the manure a lot more watery because it's so digestible, especially the heifer barns.

  • what is the difference with bmr silage and maize/corn silage? thanks
