"Crown of Storms" by Providence's inimitable Lightning Bolt meets "Dialogue" by Jan Svankmajer. If you think this is ridiculous, wait 'til you see the video that I used for the end of this song.
This is part of my "head cleaner" project, compiled with 2 vcrs in the spring of 2008. Between original footage and a bunch of weird thrift store tape clips (think TV carnage), I've combined a bunch of avant garde film and video clips (e.g. Le Dernier Cri, Nam June Paik, Norman McLaren, Kubrick) with contemporary experimental (or at least fun) music (e.g. Oval, Oneida, the Boredoms). Sensory overload. I play the tape (on mute) out of a TV/VCR I put in my drum kit when my band plays. Speaking of which, come see us on tour (and then you might see the rest of this video too).
