Mercury is a rock singer and Michael a pop singer. Different but though I love G.Michael I wouldn't say he's near Mercury when it comes to vocal skill.

I think it would be best for him. I mean I really don't think pop/dance is the way for him. And maybe if he joins a band he wouldn't have as much control over what he makes.

Plus, I think Lambert is up there with Mercury when it comes to skill. Crazy head voice ability.
