CC RIDER & Dressing room interview with Morris where talks about his 5-feet big screen TV (pretty impressive in 1980)and how it helps him study the King's concerts.
Great job!Would you folks be so kind as to check out my Vocal tributes to legends such as Elvis,Johnny Cash,Louie Armstrong and more. Also please drop me a comment as to what you think.Thank you,god Bless!!!
My sister and I saw Morris at The Cave in Vancouver - not sure how old I was, maybe 20. I still have the autographed black and white photo that I got after the show. He was very good.
I saw him live in a club in Abbotsford B.C. in late 70's or early 80's. He did 3 segments of Elvis' career, early rocker, the movie songs and the Vegas years with costumes for each. About 5 piece band, 3 girl singers and he was truly fantastic. A self made professional. As far as tribute artists go you missed a good one if you never saw him. He was one of the very first if not the first to do an Elvis tribute show and started before Elvis even passed away. His book will be interesting.
I saw Morris in '81 at Vegas World. We had a few drinks and he invited me to a second show and out to his house a week later. He and I watched that 5ft TV screen singing Elvis songs together (he was way better than me). What a top man and a great Elvis impersonator.
