Andrew Bishop, Trumpet
"Live in Concert"

featuring
Genevieve Bishop, Piano
Blanka Bednarz

Presser Hall Auditorium
Bethany College
November 20, 2001

I closed this recital with the Franck because it was the very first piece of music I ever performed with mom back in the fifth grade at a church service. Amazingly, I still remember it vividly -- mostly my knees knocking together uncontrollably. Three cheers for getting over performance anxiety over the years! BTW, terribly sorry about the time & date stamp...my videographer must have been out of it.

  • A triumph! Watched the whole recital - very, very well done!

  • I appreciate that, Matt. Awfully nice coming from a fellow trumpeter. It's hard to believe eight years has gone by since this concert. Best wishes to you. - Andrew

  • Wonderful flowing playing. Beautifully done. Bravo.

  • I appreciate that. I didn't have much left for this piece at the end after that hellish program, but it was still a great way to end the recital. Take care.

  • Well, that's just about the best compliment I've received all day!
