HHO is a excepted term for brown gas Chill out and except it.

ProAudioHD, great that you went to college and got educated, BUT remember, education is NOT meant to give you "tunnel vision". it looks like you've been so caught up and closed up by education that once you graduated you felt like you know it all and NOW refuse to accept that you may not know everything after all. I believe that education is a tool to help us get more knowledge. HHO is obviously new knowledge that you can acquire. stay humble and learn more about HHO instead of closing your mind

Seems almost like hho is very similar to no2?
-
@goose2goose2 - No sir I studied both mechanical and electrical engineering in college, as well as combustion engines. These comments show people thinking: if only they make a good enough bubbler, they wont need any gas at all!! I'm reminding those folks that no, that will not happen.

@mepatuhoo too funnny..you want to be left out...but you no experience with HHO
but want tp correct everyone involved....classic....enginee
r? likely. -
just shut up and get this...it works!
-
maybe you should just try one before you continue, you're just making yourself sound stupid.
read, learn, get better, use less gas, help the planet....what is the problem here?
you've never had an HHO genset.... , that much is clear.
My hho unit..20.000 miles..going strong...MPG went from 30-32 to 46-48
zero cost/...

@proaudiohd YOu need to read up..you have no clue what you're talking about.
that's ok...just get educated....no one is talkinng about running on water..
you use hydrogen from electrically split water...you consume water, because
that is where the hydrogen comes from..the hydrogen ( and ox ) gas, is directed into
the air intake along with the air/gas or diesel mix.
maybe if you just read a bit before shooting yourmouth off, yes?
-
you didn't even bother to listen did you?
they left the ignition on..the hho genset continued to produce gas
then they went to start it boom...
darwin award to them.
zero fault of the hho...

@goose2goose2 yeah, he is way too simplistic. I don't have all the equations handy, but I can just use common sense to see that a hydrogen booster increases the efficiency of an engine. mepatuhoo is missing the point entirely, we aren't trying to get "free" energy, just use electricity from the alternator to generate hydrogen. the energy used to generate it would have been wasted, but now is adding to the efficiency of the engine.

@mepatuhoo LOL @ the guy that believe everything he reads on Wikipedia
Where I am from, people are used to explosions of this kind, since the number of garage converted cars rises exponentially as social status decreases. However, when my car exploded it was recorded extraordinary by witnesses I have spoken to :D

Well, obviously you never ran a car on Natural Gas or LPG converted from garage technicians :) The reason for the explosion is that the ignition was slowed down so much, as in the 3th cycle there was some burning fuel left in the chamber, which by opening of the intake valve traveled out of the cylinder into the intake manifold and then BOOOom...hehe
This is very common among not properly adjusted natural gas or LPG vehicles, sometimes it occurs even with gasoline engines...

On-board HHO generation will never power itself. You can't run a car on water, sorry. It sounds good, but you people are ignoring the fact that you need to ADD energy to the car from somewhere else to make it go. Yes you can run a combustion engine on hydrogen, no you cant use that same engine to make more hydrogen and expect it to keep running.

Aha, that is true, as is true that with a piano you can't shave. However, for both arguments, there was never a dispute in this post, therefore both are irrelevant. :)
It's simple thermodynamics guys. I am not a fan of free energy out of hydrogen, but I am a fan of supplying hydrogen to boost performance of combustion. That's all.

en (dot) wikipedia (dot) org/wiki/Oxyhydrogen
"The energy required to generate the oxyhydrogen always exceeds the energy released by combusting it"

We are not a problem, we look for a solution, so if you have a problem the peace on your mind my friend!
