*~*In chapter 6, Joe and Jazz set off to buy her books. at the end, she almost fell and both Joe and the cashier helped her. Lets see who was who...*~*

-Joe's POV-
Jazz: Ohhh look at that one Joe! *She pointed to an electric blue bag with black flowers intertwined for the pattern. It was almost out of reach. She stretched up to grab it and almost fell over once she had it*
~My hands flew to her shoulders and I steadied her. Then I noticed that the cashier was holing her too. He was looking at her with a look on his face that made what he wanted entirely plain.
Jazz: Um... I'm not falling anymore...
~ I took his hands off her shoulders and glared at the cashier* "You can let go of her now."
Jazz: Okay. I'll pay for this now *She took a firm step forward and his hands fell off her waist and then she followed him back to the register*
Cashier: Oh, the bag is free.
~I looked at the tag on the bag. It said $29.99. This was like those freaking books. He had let her off by almost $50.00~ If he tries to take her away, I'll just stop him. That easy.
Jazz: *flashes one of her brilliant smiles at the cashier*Thanks for all your help.
~I felt a surge of jealousy sweep through me as he smiled back at her~
Cashier: If there's anything more that you want....
~I could hear the implied meaning behind his words, but I don't think Jazz did~ "Thanks, but no." ~I said as coldly as possible. I grabbed Crystal's leash and Jazz's bag and walked out~
Jazz: *hurries to catch up with me* Why were you being so rude to him? He just wanted to help me!
"Not in the way you're thinking." ~I growled~
Jazz: *stops* What do you mean?
She looks genuinely confused. God she could have no clue what the effect she was having on every boy she met! "Trust me okay? Come on we need to get home and get all your stuff" ~I walked on and listened for her hurried footsteps. A few seconds later, she caught up with me and took Crystal's leash from me~
Jazz: Fine. *she started walking faster, as if she was annoyed with me*
Great. Now I've done it. She's furious with me! I'll make it up to her sometime. I know I will.

-40 minutes later, still Joe's POV-
~I helped her carry over 5 bags of clothes and other belongings. We started arranging her new room, but I had no clue what to say. She hadn't said a word to me since she had tried to discourage me from helping her get her stuff~ "Anything else at your house?"
Jazz: Yeah. *stood up* I might as well get the rest of the stuff now.
"I'll help."
Jazz: *hesitated* I guess it'll take less trips this way. Just don't you dare drop any of it.
~I followed her to her house and she led me into the only other room left in the house~ No WAY! Wow this girl is so amazing.
Jazz: I had to buy it all second hand... but it was worth it. Obviously it'll still take a few trips.... *she realized something and turned to me, worried* I am allowed to bring this stuff, right? I totally wasn't thinking!
"Of course you will! I'll help you set up in the basement. We never use it anymore. Is this all really second hand?" The guitars looked brand new, the drums looked in mint condition and she even had a pretty sweet amp.
Jazz: Well, I had a few friends in the last place we were at... they helped me fix them all up. *she looked suddenly sad*
She must miss her friends fro her last move the most. She always got more sad when talking about them. "Do you still talk with them?"
Jazz: We email still. I was wondering if that was a good idea though. ALl the other times I moved I just distanced myself completely from everyone. It made it easier.
"I think it's a good thing you still talk to them. But, we were moving your stuff."
Jazz: Right. Okay, I'll get the guitar cases. That'll help. *she ran off and came back with 4 cases* I think I'll need help fixing up my 2 acoustic guitars though. It's been a while. Is there a music place close by?
"Yeah. Right up the street But you don't need to go to it." This was perfect. Absolutely perfect
Jazz: *finishes zipping up the last bag* Why?
"Well, I work there. I'll be able to help you. And you won't have to pay me."
Jazz: Really? *her entire face lit up* That's so awesome! Do you have any guitars of your own? *She put 2 of the cases on her back and handed me the others*
~I put them on and we started walking back. I told her how me and my brothers were in a small band that played at local places at least 3 times a week. After we dropped off her guitars, we went back for her drum set. And then after that, to get her amp. We started setting up in the basement and Nick came down to help~
-End Joe's POV-

*~*Ohhh Jazz has a temper! Joe will need to remember that in the future. I wonder what will happen next!*~*
