@PepsiiiTwiSt oh dont get me wrong... im all for Korea, one of the best teams in asia.. and i dont really care much for the game from 3 days ago cuz i know and i understand its a friendly. BUT my point comes from when korea was at its best this before this world cup... played each other twice and had to catch up to tie the game... i just think iran has tabs on korea... not saying their better or korea suck im just saying iran has been playing better against korea and korea still cant win...
@popmypopy Lastly, Iran scored because of a horrible mistake made by one of our defenders. But we still love him and support him because he accomplished alot for Korea and never really made a mistake as such. After the game, he said in a interview "I made a mistake that not even the children makes," which shows how lucky Iran got with his once in a lifetime mistake. Bragging from winning a friendly is pathetic, especially when you guys won by a fluke. We'll see what happens in the 2011 Asian Cup
@popmypopy If you haven't noticed, let me tell you that the players who played in the friendly against Iran were all young players of the Korean team, except a few. The reason for using young players is to give them experience, in hopes of them developing into a better player. Regardless, Korea still played a game of domination against Iran. If you don't trust me, go watch the game or read the game stats.
@popmypopy Saying "South Korea still can't beat Iran" is rather misleading. We just got a new manager, and the friendly against Iran was only his 2nd game. He is still trying out new techniques and formations and that is perfectly fine because that is what friendlies are for. The purpose of friendly matches is to try out new things. The formation used against Iran was a never before used, brand new formation and the players were also mixed around in positions.
im going to say japan... south korea is doing very good but still cant beat iran. japan is really good and i think they are a threat to iran... umm that's about it. all the other teams are just there for show. honestly thats what makes asia anywhere near a soccer continent, only teams that have something to prove. others play soccer just to see how far they'll go. very sad for asian soccer. Iran all the way.
@Watership1000 the news said that the pitch was the reason why china lost the match !! .... But the question here is : why did Iran play well on this bad pitch ?! then i dont think this would be an excuse cuz both played on the same field !!
i am not supporting neither china nor Iran but i can't see any reason for mentioning the pitch problem !! because both played with the same problem .. right ??
