@zaadmojensar I have very dry hair so I get split ends very easily. I would say my ends are better then they were when I had my chi and I use it much more. I do still get breakage, but I use a heat protectant and a leave in conditioner. Hope this helps and if you end out getting it, please let me know what you think of it.

@cnaatwork Mine align perfectly. You definitely should get the best one possible if you are paying $200. Are they going to send you a new one? I bought mine in store at sephora

it takes more than 4 seconds. probably 10. i just said 30 to be safe, but i turned it on and it had the two beeps when it was ready. it was pretty fast..

I got one and had to send it back. The plates didn't line up right. Do your plates align right? I mean, I am paying 200 bucks for it. I think it should be perfect!

I thought it took 4 seconds to heat :o I heard that it was the fastest heating product on the whole wide market . How weird.
