The pilot announced that the front gear was having difficulties after a long, twisted approach. This flight originated from Atlanta-Hartsfield Int'l airport. A great job by the cockpit crew and flight attendants.

  • I was working on the ramp at an FBO at CAK during this. I remember standing on top of the fuel truck and watching all of this happen. You guys had the attention of all the CAK employees, I guarantee it! haha!

  • @JFishman725 That's awesome. Everything seemed to be at a standstill when we landed, including our aircraft on the tarmac. By the way do you know why that 747SP was on the runway?

  • omg!!! you must have been so scard :) I would have freaked out lol

  • @dantorp11 I was, but at the sametime i was like "sweet! this'll be great on youtube!" lol

  • Which Delta Connection carrier was this operated by?

  • Was a hydraulic pressure problem?

  • If I was in that situation (and dear god I hope I never am), after landing I would yell out "Time to party!"

  • The reason you flew over the airport is because the ATC's in the tower were attempting to do a visual check of the aircraft to see if the gear appeared down. Standard procedure in a situation like that. Happens with small aircraft all the time, not so common in a CRJ!

  • Do as the flight attendat tells you t o do

  • NICE ITS THE INDY ACCIDENT

  • @Airforceproud95 maybe they were towing it away so that the 747 couldnt take off so that you guys had priority#1 landing

  • all the pilots have you in good hands :)

  • @Airforceproud95 that 747SP is ernest angelys the well known minester from cuyahoga falls, ohio. it is just about always parked there. they go on crucades and stuff!

  • Screwdriver always works.

  • I love the pilot. He is like a good friend giving bad news. "Dude, I don't want to upset you, but.." Very professional. I would have urinated all over myself.
