45skyfire how can you say Domi never fought them????????? Domi beat Laraque and Twist... Domi was a lot smaller and they have more reach than Domi... Domi is a tough SOB and he never took crap from anyone no matter how big they are

I always heard Smith got his skate caught in a rut in the Stadium ice. He was never the same player after this really, but played four more years.

I remember seeing Tie at San Jose Live in San Jose and I thanked for kickin Steve Smith ass..

actually a lot of guys messed with Domi and kicked his ass....Domi never challenged Tony Twist...nor George Laraque..cuz he knew he was a wimp....Domi was and is..a fool...he only got lucky in fights cuz he spun around......but toe to toe he lost..check out his fight vids..and youll see

I watched this game live when I was a kid, and have been looking for this clip on youtube for a while.

Steve Smith broke his left leg in this fight and ended his season. I remember hearing after that Tie Domi called Steve Smith to see how he was doing.

Smith actually broke his leg in this fight. If you watch the replay his leg buckles underneath him and snaps.

Didn't know that,just have the clip and they never say anything about a leg injury.But Smith still gets nailed before he breaks his leg,probably what led to the injury I'd say.

"Steve Smith is going to lose his balance right there" haha. Ah, no. He got hit with a bomb and buckled.
