An Asian man born in America is considered American. An African American man born in America is considered American. An Mexican man born in America is considered American. Where you're born is your "nationality" When you immigrate to another country it's harder to really be accepted because of the accent differences, clothing differences etc you get singled out. If you're white and were born or lived in Japan the most of your life you should be considered Japanese. Why wouldn't you be?

Nice video but have you noticed that you look like the vocalist from a band called The Vapours?

@Serganten1 lol @ the last sentence

@XileLord because you would have a big gainjin nose, funny gaijin hair, wide gaijin eyes, and a larger gaijin body. I think this is true for all of asia and I would wager that Japan is the LEAST racist of the east asian countries.

Zeplin if you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living there?
-
@XileLord Because this is one of the only few countries in the world that accept this philosophy. This is fairly new philosophy that came around this century. You can't expect that everyone in the entire world to think like that. Forcing people to do so is wrong too. You have to wait till the whole world accepts this. If you think japan has this mindset of not liking foreigners the worst. You are clearly ignorant of every other region of the world.
You still look like AIDS.

well I'm half-japanese and even I am still sometimes considered a "foreigner". Its not like in the US that everyone is ethnically different but your still American. Japan is not AMERICA..America was built on Immigrants. and you just have to live with it. as much as I hate being called a gaijin sometimes.

@BRIZZ0707 since I'm not American, I really don't care whether Japan is America or not :P

I think I understand your feelings, cause' US is multiracial society.
But I can also understand Japanese, because I come from a place 110% inhabited by white people.
Treating different race foreigners as tourists and having prejudice is something to be expected. There is simply no way around it. Root of the problem is lack of experience in dealing with them. In other words, not enough different race natives.
You just have to learn to live with "the foreigner for life" status.

@PushMyCarr I'm from Denmark, not the US. Denmark only has roughly 4% non-western immigrants.
