I run an agency called rent a corpse. If you need a dead maggoty body for any reason call rent a corpse.....thats 0845 rent a corpse.

@SteveTheMusicMan1 Wow, I had no idea that it had run that long! I thought it was an early eighties thing, but it was mid seventies. Used to love it. Your Dad had a very good innings, by the way. Our generation should be so lucky.

@craig50 Thanks for that - yes, the family are very proud of what Dad achieved. It's a shame he didn't get more public recognition during his career, particularly by the BBC for whom he wrote so many series.

@SteveTheMusicMan1 It must be nice to know your Father entertained a generation of 70s kids with Rentaghost,i along with everyone i've ever mentioned the series to remember it with great fondness. :)

My father, Bob Block, conceived and wrote the entire Rentaghost series, which ran for 8 years. Fans will be sad to hear that Bob died peacefully at the age of 89 on 17th April 2011. His work will be fondly remembered by many.

No probs I'm trying to get loads more RENTAGHOST on but my converter for canging dvd to mpegs is a bit knacked! But as soon as I sort out a new one there will be more!Cheers warenpeace66
