Bernie's brother Hiram plays cello on this song.

I can hear the vocal in the background in my mind, but am entranced with these singing instruments, esp. the guitar.

Wow, more talent on 1 finger than most have in a lifetime...

I have to admit - I was very much a Roberto Kelly believer and didn't think much of Bernie when he came up, but he blossomed into a truly great player as Kelly sadly faded.

Great ballplayer, fine guitarist, classy guy from what we saw as Yankee fans.

@SnyderRacing21 Actually, even when he played he played guitar in the clubhouse and Paul O'neill played drums. There was even a commercial they did on MSG where they were playing in the clubhouse.

@yankees1234577 you also spelled oops wrong...

Not a good guitarist at all, a phenomenal guitarist. Sounds like something really inspired him on this rendition.

@andrianosm Somebody's a bitter Boston fan...

BER-nie (a.k.a 'Bernabé'...LOL!) WILLIAMS!!! BERN, baby, BERN! He's pretty nice on the guitar. Not traditionally my type of music, but its Bernie's music--so it's GOOD music. The great #51, man... Speaking of which, when will they officially retire the man's number? (51). It's really 'bout time. I'm not even sure if the number is active right now. Is someone in the Bombers organization wearing it currently?

I saw Bernie hit two home runs on his birthday vs. Tampa Bay at the stadium in 2003. You spelled his last name wrong.
