no not Kevin, MARSHALL, has insane agility, 4.3 speed, can pass block like a 250 pound fullback can run routes in the slot just as good as Welker, averaged 5.6 yards per carry last season behind a line that specializes in pass blocking. Give him the touches and he will produce.

  • @TheRealTeaPartier Danny Woodhead 4.37 40 yard dash 5'8 200 pounds 1.44 10 yard split 10'01 broad jump. Lets see 115 yards from scrimmage against the Ravens who have a pretty stout defense, 115 against the Jets, also stout defense, 125 against Buffalo. And he came close several other times. This is despite the fact that he only got 9 touches per game last year, you know being his first year in the offense traded a few games in the season without the benefit of training camp etc.

  • oh yeah not to mention elite agility, but I guess lets throw his times out because hes white, those recorded times only mean something for black players. Warrick Dunn 5'8 190 pounds, smaller than Woodhead, Marshall Faulk only a few pounds heavier at the same height, yeah theres no possible way because Woodhead is WHITE, GOD FORBID a WHITE GUY be anything close to the athletes like Faulk and Dunn, no they just get by on grit and heart, big runs r pure heart, elite ability nothing to do with it

  • its the entire reason they LOST the Superbowl. Gronkowski was hurt so safeties and linebackers didn't have to worry about him. If Woodhead was in there running more routes out of the backfield, the defense WOULD have to account for him, and this worked in the 1st half. After the first drive in 2nd half in which the SCORED, they decided to leave him off the field even though it was working.

  • and btw to the op, Bill Bellicheck doens't even have the balls to use Woodhead to his fullest potential now that Welker is 100 percent healthy. He could least be what Darren Sproles is for the Saints, but he rarely gets the touches. I see him more in a Jamaal Charles role but either way, Bellicheck doesn't want to have 2 star white guys at black positions on offense. 2010 was the exception because Welker coming offf the knee injury wasn't getting the yac. Kind of like how Edelman dissapeared

  • kind of similar to Brian Leonard who ran a 4.49 at a big size. "Just Happened to be drafted to a team that had a star back" in Steven Jackson. When Jackson was hurt, Leonard ran behind a line that was missing 4 starters, and the starting qb. Jackson's numbers were similar in the same situation but when he came back from injury most of those guys were healthy. Now people have forgotten he is a tailback. The Bengals need help at rb and haven't looked his way.

  • and those are the only ones considered "tailbacks". There is Jacob Hester, despite rushing for 1k his last year in the SEC, running a 4.6 (which many other backs have done at the combine), he is considered a FULLBACK. LT went down and he still doesn't get carries. they had Sproles but not an every down back and got shut down in that role. Then they give the ball to TOLBERT who is much SLOWER and had a mediocre career at coastal carolina. Then people forgot Hester could run and drafted Matthews

  • Gerhart should have been drafted to a team that needed a feature back, but is drafted to the Vikings. Even when Peterson is hurt they don't feed the rock to Toby most of the time. Chester Taylor had a bigger role in the offense with Peterson playing. All of Gerhart's carries have come when Peterson has been injured.

  • @MUSICBUFF99TUFF literally "a few". There is Hillis who the Browns are trying to run out of town with all the negative stuff constantly posted about him that simply isn't true, or twisting the facts. Yes he turned down a "big" contract, but the contract was structured for getting paid 1.2 mi the first 3 years, and then the big money the last 2, contracts aren't guaranteed and they would have cut him before those last 2 years. Then there is Toby Gerhart who has shined every time he has played

  • @AscendingVibes umm check your madden 12 cover ... there's a few other white running backs

  • How many WHITE runningbacks are there in the NFL?

    1: Danny Woodhead!

Who does he play for? Patriots.

    Whos my team? Patriots!

    Fucking Righteous.

  • @ahjrome and Reggie Bush averaged 17 touches per game this season, ran for 1,000 yards. He weighs about 5 pounds more than Woodhead but with his height at 6'0 he is rather slim, well he probably weighs around the same, Woodhead has reportedly bulked up to 200 from 195, and Marshall is listed at 211, he wasn't 211 out of college, he looked much smaller, I saw him in person and I saw him when the Saints played the Rams many years later, much bulkier.

  • and whose to say Woodhead doesn't break off a big one with 3 extra carries? Without Lawfirm's big play hes averaging 3 ypc. Look at how Sproles was used for the Chargers, misused quite a bit , espescially in the playoffs, tried to use him too much up the gut. Saints took him, tosses, outside zone, draws, screens (86 catcfes) Woodhead was building a season like that in 2010 and they just decided not to use him as much anymore, he averaged 5.6 ypc in that role and 11 yds per rec
