I think the more important part of the ending scene is the fact that there will always be someone wanting to kill the emperor/empress or their position. I don't think the maids will even bother screaming at something like that anymore lol. They probably see stuff like that often enough.

I think it was the Chamberlain who killed her. He got tired of seeing every leader get slain by the competition and thought I can play this game too then! :)

@Adr1033 Well, they intentionally decided not to reveal it in the movie. They wanted to bring to point that no matter what you do, you can't get away with it and someone is always watching. In the original, it was supposed to be her maid.

Where can I watch this, with eng subs??

@0011486 hahahaha So, according to Debussy the "beauty" of the music is when you can't hear the music b/c there's silence ? In that case, it would be better to never hear/play music if you really valued " beauty" hahahaha Good ol' Claude must be a Frenchman at heart.

Now it's sleepy time.

i think that listening to a song in a language that is unknown to me makes the music and the performance of the singer more pure and effective

On the OST there are two versions to this song, known as the 越人歌 Yue Ren Ge, appearing at two points in the movie. The former (sung prob by Daniel Wu??) is known as 越人歌 (复仇)Yue Ren Ge (Revenge) and the latter (which is sung by Zhou Xun) is 越人歌 (寂寞)Yue Ren Ge (Loneliness).
