@TheWandrow Hahah i hadnt heard that Oasis track before, i see what you mean! Good job it wasnt one of Oasis more memorable tracks

ME GUSTA! :)

Mansun were definitely the best for chord progressions and harmonies; something that I rarely remember from Oasis n Blur etc. etc. The band should have been as big, but unfortunately music that has a bit of soul switches too many people off :(

One of my favourite songs, by one of my favourite bands! Recently re-visited their genius... And my love for Paul Draper! <3

oh, and by the way this is a heart wrenchingly and timely ode to Ms Whinehouse R.I.P

every f**king video you go to for this lot has 10s of 1000s of watchers. What the f**k is Draper playing at? Re-form and claim your rightfull place at the top table son!

There are no bands around to compare to Mansun.... inventive, witty, sexy, tunes that never pandered to the mainstream whilst still sounding great blasting out of the radio and being successful. And i never met anyone who thought they were just "alright", people either loved or hated them, mark of a great band in my eyes!

complete rip of the intro to Alive by oasis

Absolutely underrated band, I don't understand why they weren't so much more successful.

How dare you! Shed 7 never made any distinctive songs that worked as singles to compare as the Mansun era like. Just listen to Mansun's three LP releases: Attack Of Tthe Grey Lanten; Six and ; and the third album....Pick any singles and check them out ...
Radiohead described Attack of the Grey Lantern as a real musical achievement - that's a lot, coming from Radiohead. Since that album, Mansun produced many more brilliant tracks. Some of their b-sides are fantastic.
