College Film - Class 4 - Zombie Short - 16:9 Fixed

PLEASE READ,

Just found this on tape so i thought id finally upload it, this film was shot earlier this year for my last college assignment,

Now Firstly im not really happy with the film at all there are alot of problems with it and if i knew then what i know now i certainly woudlnt have bothered lol

shot over a period of 1-2 weeks (off and on) the main edit and visual fx took 1 week and the sound edit was done in one evening (to meet the deadline)

i am a lover of zombie films and especially the George A. Romero series and in the future i would love to have another crack at a zombie film but with a nice little budget and a real plan.

why are you dissapointed with this Cyberrob ? I want to make a zombie film soon here in Aus - I'm doing a film course but want to wait until I've learned how to do green screens and stuff which is in the coming months - I've been a bit worried that maybe I'm starting it a little to early in the course to pull off what I want on screen because I only started at the start of the year -

what we be your best of advice for me ? :D

well i was mainly dissapointed with the story, i'm currently in very early days of drafting a new script and im constantly thinking of 'Class 4' in terms of where things went wrong and how to improve. if i was to offer some advice it would be this:

keep the story simple - try to focus it around the "alive" characters, good zombie films never really focus on zombies with the exception of 'Colin' a film from a zombies perspective - look it up

make sure you have damn good actors

@pornoslut hahaa ok.. I'm not 2 sure about the next season walking dead but i know they only made half a season so hopefully nxt half out soOooOon.. oh yeah! how about world war Z ? i think that will pwn.. apparentley brad pitt is in it and its being filmed now.

@shitchops I probably friggen would lol . I loveeeeeeeeeee zombie movies so much that I like literally have dreams about them . but in my dreams its scarier bc everywhere I hide they find me lol . @Cyberrob yeah Ok man.. well with my story its pretty much about 1 man stranded by himself in rural bushland.. hes the only character in the story .. I kept it to just 1 character so I could focus on putting emphasis on atmosphere and zombie make-up and stuff .. I can get a real chopper to which is exciting.. the actor is a freind of mine from school who is into acting and i know he can pull it off :D

I think I have seen colin is it about a zombie clown ??
