I think this appart from the fact they sing wonderfully and Neil is an amazing song writer is the fact they are such crazy wonderful generous people who love to ad lib have fun take the pee and just generally interact with their Frenz thier fanz

This is one of the many reasons why I love Crowded House so much. Every show is unique.

During Pineapple Head, Liam put on Mark's glasses which he'd left on the keyboard. Neil noticed his antics and started ad libbing lyrics about how would be if everyone in Crowded House was wearing glasses. The fans gladly obliged them, and they wore the glasses for the rest of the song.
