@Dancingjenni121 It's pretty good being a kid nowadays actually coming from someone born in the mid 90s. If it wasn't for constant testing and the occaisonal stupid health and safety I'd say it was better than ever.

This is amazing and greatly moved me.I was born in leafy south Liverpool suburbia...Maybe a "dream" for these old communities so brutally destroyed here?However the thing that shines through was these people's belief in community spirit.sad ,as no mothers sat on the steps watching us play in the late 60's,early 70's.My sadness of how "redevelopment" destroyed areas esp the north end.hardly any tower blocks left ,plenty in down in Brighton strangely! Le Corbusier's dream failed! thankyou Sophie
When people lived in real houses in real streets, the door was always open. In the tower blocks, the doors were kept locked.
