Please note - especially haters - it looks in the opening trio segment like the bass is miked only - no pickup. Big sound, great sound.

Great solo. Really enjoyed your clip :-)

Though I am not so familiar with Bass-playing, your performance is much more wonderful and fantastic than I had thought it to be.
And thank you for your kind comment for my grand -son's Bach Suite No1.

Great feel, intonation, and time, but not the most original sounding player. I have great respect for him though.

Some are P.C. licks but he sounds like Ben Wolfe to me. The guy knows his history and has added well to the vocabulary...especially BASS vocabulary. I hear a bit of Wilbur Ware, Paul Chambers, Charlie Haden, Leroy Vinnegar, Ray Brown and Ron Carter in this guy's playing but still comes out sounding like someone unique. This guy is beyond bad mo fo status!!! Check out any of his records (Murray's Cadillac or 13 Sketches). Great writing and AMAZING bass playing. He'll walk U in the ground!!

Once you've played behind a great bass player, then you've finally realized what it feels like to play music. Same with a good drummer. Must be a trip getting schooled by Rodney Jones though...
