Feeding Musk,Spiny and Eastern Painted Turtles

My husband is feeding our baby turtles some wax worms. As you can see the softshell is a fisty eater!

They are all live together and get along fine. We will upgrade their tank when they get bigger. The tank is boreing right now, Later we might just put some gravel in it.

The only thing is can think of to cause the indent is that its skinny? or it tends to bend its back alot when it swims....or It might just be thier back bone or something..heheheh...
