The first Train Driver would have radioed the Train Controller that the Level Crossing was blocked by a Bus that appeared to have failed or broken down. Train Controller would have dropped all signals in the area on Both the Up and Down Mainline Direction Tracks back to Red. Also The Boom Gates would have failed to set and operate correctly and this too would alert Train Controller of a problem at the Level Crossing as an Alarm on Controller Panel would activate
