Nokia N900 CSSU update testing

Thanks to maemo community, nokia n900 get updates. Still not stable but you can see few things how working that don't exist in last official PR 1.3 from nokia. Menu rotation, 9 desktops, better menu scrolling, faster etc.

As a N900 user i love the work that people of maemo community do and prove that open source is powerfull. Thank you for keeping that good device alive.

hello there. just wana ask, how can i fix the camera of my N900 after i installed cssu? it seems that theres alot of errors. i cant even take a shot. it says your file code cannot be read. please help me!!!

@marcotan26 Try remove any app related to the camera from application manager. Try update the drivers that maybe kept back to older version when you updated if you have Fcamera installed.

Try on terminal (with rootsh):

sudo gainroot;

apt-get purge fcam-drivers; apt-get install fcam-drivers -y

If that dont work make a question at maemo.org

@JuusoTuber At the wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU Go there with n 900 browser. Then in main menu you will see the update icon. Press it and let all the scripts do the job. It will restart. Then have fun.

yes! it is amazing what the developers can do. With many linux experts out there, I'm sure maemo/ meego will always live! I just updated the CSSU today. Like you say, still not perfect, but its very well made! :D
