sonic wildfire was the prototype name for secret rings.look at the date of this video. It was 2006. A year before the game was relesed when it was going to be called wildfire.

The bar on the bottom right, and the coin counter on the top left. Some of the enemy placement has changed, with Secret rings adding more obstacles.
