  • i have tp-link 16 port 10/100 switch. you dont need router if you have home network cabling

  • shes a yummy mummy ...

  • Thank you.

  • What is shown is a USB Hub.... a WHOLE different category than a networking/ethernet hub. Apples and oranges. That's not something you should get wrong. The other info given is overall correct...but why play the blonde as such a....blonde?

  • @nitincross I read somewhere..a bridge in the old days is now called a switch...i.e. they are one and the same.

  • A switch can be used to connect multiple devices to the internet... I've been doing it with 3 computers to the internet for a long time now... the thing is you will need multiple IP addresses from your service provider. Each device gets it's own IP from the service provider

A router only requires 1 IP to then route info to the other devices under a different, internal IP address that the router assigns to internal computers.

Perhaps not a Hub.. but a switch works fine, routers are more secure

  • Nice video

  • You forget to add bridge in your discussion.

  • i've had this question all week. finaly answered.
