I actually like the song...whats the name of it?

Hi, I purchased plans, do you use 14 tooth band saw blade and do you back up wood with scrap to avoid splintering? Which type of ply do you prefer Baltic or Finnish birch? Thanks

@martymande :Bandsaw - mine is 6 teeth/inch and 0.3mm thich by 10mm wide. Ply - I live in Australia so dont' have either variety. The rule is get as many plys/inch that you can afford. The more plys, the more expensive. I use a 1/4" ply with 5 plys that works well. I have a far more expensive product that has 12 plys for 1/4" - it works a lot better but too expensive to try again.

@adrianiredale Do you place a scrap piece under gear when cutting to avoid splintering out of veneer? Thanks

@martymande : No I don't. A bandsaw is pretty good as not tearing wood.

It is designed very nice but,how do you tell what time it is??

@Ferrari465 - you read the time from the top of the wheel at the front, which is divided into 12 hours, with a mark for each 1/4 hour in between each hour.
