Steel Wool Poi

I used the wire from two coat hangers. Cut off the top hook and straighten the wire out. Using the a roll of steel wool from a hardware store i wrapped it around the end so it's about 2-3" thick and bent the coat hanger wire over it so the steel wool is secure and won't go flying off. I dipped mine in Odourless Kero and used a lighter so i could get the nice glow of the steel wool when spinning. You can just as easily use a battery to ignite the steel wool.

I take no responsibility if you follow my directions and something goes wrong :P Make sure you have a lot of clear space, you'll need it. Enjoy!

I'm doing this in a couple days. How big of an area should I be in? I live in a place with a ton of trees and I don't really want to get arrested. Here in the states I'm pretty sure it's legal as long as you don't burn anything.

we always called it ghetto fireworks and poor mans fireworks. Its a lot of fun and funny when people get their scalps burned. Be careful and don't run into crowds of people. Make sure you have someone with you incase it gets on your clothes while you are running. You might not notice. No fun there.

We use to use brillo pads WITHOUT soap. The soap ones didn't work. Take the regular steel wool pad and wrap the end of a wire hanger around it and run down the street swinging it around you..... beware.... that shit will burn your scalp so wear some protective head gear. HAHA
