i heard that in south america, sooted tail booms give you luck
-
For fuck sake who cares whether he cleans it or not???!
-
...Whoa... whoa... whoa... rotors ain't turning!

@miketacoma5 if he washed it two minutes later after the test, that would make it a clean "tested" helicopter you retard. which in everybody's opinion including mine is fine. its clean untested ones that would frighten a pilot. test pilots who waste their flight hours cleaning their test aircaft would get sacked and not allowed to fly the flipping thing at all. thats the mechanics job....
-
@intoxicologist I certainly hope he didn't wash it 2 minutes later. For Pete's sake, that'd make it a clean, untested helicopter and the pilot will most assuredly end up dead. I refer you to your first paragraph of utterly inane logic.

LOOKS A BIT HEATH ROBINSON...BUT WHAT DO I KNOW

@itsmonti1 washing the tail of an experimental aircraft is time not testing the aircraft. perfect working order and dirty is exactly what a test bed should look like. pilots who clean their test aircraft end up dead because they are wasting time that could be used to carry out tests. i want a dirty tested helicopter not a clean untested one.
and anyway this might be the end of the day. 2 minutes later when he was finished he may well have cleaned it, how do you know?

it is just laziness to wash the tail. pilots like that who don't care end up dead on the ground and who know with a passenger.
