Once again the Union and Confederate troops clash in Middletown, Virginia to re-create the historic Valley Campaign Battle of Cedar Creek. Money raised from this event, helps to preserve the battlefield for future generations to learn about and understand our history.

those cannons wake me up every morning when they go off i live 1/4 mile from this battlefield

My Grt Grt Grt Grandfather Barnabas Hinds was injured in the Battle of Cedar Creek, I am Australian and one day would love to visit the US and participate in the reinactment.

Did you really need all the cannon noise? Was that actually at the re-enactment? It strikes me that the organic sounds of the battle re-enactment should have been enough. Given that, I do like the shots.
