I believe that they may have, althought i know nothing officially. Melaniebattolla mentioned same thing earlier too, so i think theres a good possibility that they did.

Good to hear that you heard of the Lips through the Colbert bump, they played a hell of a performance! I've been obsessed with them for 2 or 3 years now and have seen them 4 times. Be sure to see them live whenever you get the chance and your mind will literally be blown. Oh and sweet video too, those things have always fascinated me.
