I think one good test on any mix is to see how well it will come across listening on ordinary or cheap speakers - then on more expensive systems.
When I listen on small speakers ie the ones on my MBP I can only ask myself if the mix works or not - this does. So then I listened through my Sony MDR7509 studio headphones - and was very impressed with how everything was mixed and panned out appropriately with virtually all frequencies covered.
In a nutshell the mix came alive with the '7509's.

oh yeah they do sound a bit like umbrella. It think a lot of it is the open hihat at the same time as the kick on the first beat. Awesome strings. 5/5* as always
