It doesn't appear that it would be overriding the Supreme Court decision. It simply wants immunity from crimes committed. Just like pardons don't "override" Supreme Court decisions (or crimes against the Constitution), pardons simply wipe away the charge.

It is bold, shameless, impertinent, I wonder how you could give such a response to this; it is your rights too, that Bush is contravening here.
