The first lyrical battle was KMD and Bizzy Bee....rapper verse party mc..back then the rapper one...this time the rapper one..LL is a party mc and good at what he does, but a party MC will never beat a Lyrical MC, most real street battles was on the corners with no beat just lyrics...LL had no chance. KMD style was old school but the lyrics were still hot..LL Lyrics was ok....

if i rember correctly, mama said knock you out was the bigger song at the time. i think ll cool j turned out to be the better mc. i guess kool moe dee had more street cred but i always thought cool j was just the better mc hands down.
