i remember taking off from reef runway only once, think it was 1983, on the fallen flag World Airways, an old and heavily used DC-10. just as we turned onto the runway and were cleared for takeoff, one of the flight attendants noticed that a rear cabin door was still open.....guess the indicators in the cockpit didn't all work (not surprised).....thank our lucky stars the intercom worked, and they didn't spool up until the door was closed.
