English Muffins are another British bread cooked on a hot surface rather than in an oven. Split in half, toast, spread with butter and top with jam, cheese or a poached egg. Recipe at http://titlisbusykitchen.com/archives/english-muffin

  • @thebestalkalinewater You really shouldn't post this pseudo-scientific-sounding nonsense on the channel of a PhD chemist. A water is water. Adding solutes doesn't make it "shrink". You cannot magically halve the specific heat capacity of water from 4.18 J/(g·K) and hence make water boil in half the time. If you want to boil it in half the time take it halfway to space. It'll boil in half the time but only at 62°C

  • Always so hard to find a clean tea towel as my husband uses them to clean the kitchen floor ;-)
