On August 29th 2009, Columbus's WBNS-TV ran this short story regarding the very first out of state move for the Lima Company Memorial. On that Sunday morning the memorial and its contents were loaded and shipped to the National Museum of the Marine Corps located in Triangle, Virginia.The memorial will be on display at the museum for at least 3 months.

Interviewed is the memorial artist, Anita Miller. Special thanks go to Jeff Ritter, Glenn McEntyre and Jeff Hogan of WBNS for their effort in this story.
