My settings are changed, under the import settings, to AAC and it still doesn't work. I am working with version 9

@jenlp28 im on 9 also and it should change into aac through the advanced tab. not sure what your problem is. try this, when you download a song through a site (not limewire) save it as .aac. that might work

It won't convert the song to aac version through the advanced tab.

HMM can you create ringtones in the new 9.1 version of itunes? because now i cant find how to create ACC versions!

@weirdpisces hmm, thanks for informing me about this. i hadnt realized this. the best thing i can say is change the settings in iTunes so that it converts them into AAC when you import you tracks into itunes then drag that track out and change it into m4r then re-import it. i havent tried this yet. OR download an audio converter then rename it to m4r after you convert it into AAC
