Vista on iPod

So I flashed my iPod's firmware (it's completely reversable) and made it look like Vista. I have to say it looks a million times better.

Heres what you do:

This will only work with a 5th or 5.5 gen iPod! I have not tried it with any others, and I don't know of any way to do it otherwise. Please stop asking.

Go to getipodwizard.com and download ipodwizard

Now go to ddfirmware.tk and download the appropriate firmware. for the vista firmware, it'll be a bin file. If your ipod video has a search feature under music, then it is a 5.5g. if not, it's a 5g. Download whichever one. Some area in zip files. Unzip them when they are done downloading.

Open Ipodwizard. Under the edit mode pull down menu, click firmware file. then click the open firmware button and open the extracted .bin file.

When it has opened, click write to ipod. hit yes a bunch of times, then when it is done, click eject.

your ipod will restart, and you're done!

If something goes wrong, or you can't do it, please don't come begging for help. I take no responsibility for what you do with your ipod.

Oh. And since I've made this video I've gone ahead and bought a Zune 80GB back in January of 2008. I recommend it to anyone over a crappod.

Seriously. Buy a Zune.
