See penguins and albatros in their natural environment. I included also driving part in Otago peninsula, skip to 3:07 (click it) to go directly to albatros and penguin part.

Otago peninsula located near to Dunedin town and is 30 km long. On both sides of peninsula are beautiful views on surroundings. I visited in the middle of winter - can see some snow on highest mountains. Very cold time indeed - penguins are better in water than on ground.

Blue penguins go hunting all day and return night time when its really dark. They gather near to shore and make landing in group. They also walk on grass in groups. In video you can see one penguin is waiting for others to join him. They are disturbed by light and especially by flash photography. Penguins use vision to hunt and can be blinded by flash photography.

They are really unusual animals and its good to see them if you have chance.
