This oversize long load passed me on I-40 in New Mexico about half way between Albequerque and Tucumcari, going eastbound. The load is two blades for a wind powered electric generator. These are VERY long and are being hauled on special built stretch trailers.

  • i live in farmington, thats off of hwy 550 in northern New Mexico. i have seen a few of those. the backs of the mining dump trucks are enormous too. i have even seen a few tanks hauled through here once.

  • Steady as she goes. i've gotten better  the more I fool around with it. They are building Wind Mills in West Branch IOWA and Ft. Madison IOWA like those.
