@Billrabatin The B side was "I'm So Lonely" written by Sal Como. The A side "Barbara Ann" was recorded in 1958. In 1961 when it was released the Regents had already broken up. A group was put together to finish the album and do public appearances.

now im gonna school you the beach boys recording of this song wasnt supposed to be released it was recorded unknown to them when they were drinking after a concert and started singing this song and jan and dean were in the studio also which most people ignore they were all goofing off in the studio and some techyy guy decided to record it so get the F*** off the beach boys
This makes the Beach Boys cover sound sooo amateur. This is the real deal.

Yeah, but selling precious vinyl records like that is silly, I would certainly keep them and listen to them, the soft crackles and squeaks of a vinyl record are just as part of the music as the instruments, I say.
