According to CNN this is a panel of "experts" discussing the possibility of life after death.
The only interesting neurology I learned from this is the resilience of my brain in not exploding when faced with the nonsense on display here. Shame on Sanjay Gupta for not jumping in and countering the lies of the other participants.

  • @FreedomLover4Ever 3 years of research and you still write in txting language ?

  • Oh yes, "experts". I just love it when shitty TV masquerading as quality pulls out the "experts". The BBC wouldnt touch this sort of shit with a bargepole.

  • SigmundF,

Experts yes weren't good ones i would rather like to see Dr. Pim Van Lommel on there or Professor David Fontana. Who put across the evidence for life after death in a scientific way.

  • oops, wrong commentbox.

  • "I would hardly call 3 yrs of research a whim."

You did three years of research to decide that atheists are opposed to freedom of speech?! You probably don't even realize that the person who inspired that quote about fighting for everyone's right to say what they think (Voltaire) was a deist, which is basically the closest thing to atheists that people of that era could be.

Ignorance is common among theists, why exactly do you think they should get a pass when they make ignorant assertions?

  • "You are much the same, you assert things on a whim, then wonder why they don't make sense."

I would hardly call 3 yrs of research a whim. All U atheists do is call ppl ignorant 4 believing N something simply b/c U happen not 2 believe the same way. UR full of bullshit like whatever makes U feel warm & fuzzy, who cares about reality, etc, making the most ignorant arguments on the Internet or anywhere else, for that matter.

  • You confuse atheists with people who do not believe in NDE's. They are not the same.

It's not really loosing when people like the master of woo, deepak chopra and the best apologist for catholicism the church can muster, the ridiculous Dinesh D'souza resort to obfuscation and making stuff up.

"Y R atheists trying so hard 2 change this great way of life?"

You are much the same, you assert things on a whim, then wonder why they don't make sense. Good luck with that method of reasoning.

  • There was an atheist there. Did U C the entire show? They had an expert on there that didn't believe N the near-death experiences, too, but he lost so bad that I was embarrassed for him. Y does it bother atheists so much 4 ppl 2 believe N God, anyway? Don't know about UR country but this country is supposed 2 B like - I may not believe as U do but I will fight to my death 4 UR right 2 believe as U do & UR right 2 voice those beliefs. Y R atheists trying so hard 2 change this great way of life?

  • Considering the amount of stuff that was just made up in this "debate" and the fact there were no atheists present, that's really a big accomplishment.

But hey, as long as it makes you feel warm and fuzzy, you are free to believe anything, right?

  • If you watched the entire debate, you would realize the atheists lost hands down.
