The Morning Thrush - A Reel composed by Seamus Ennis' father. Played on a concert pitch half set. Some may say to play it slower, but I like it at this pace.

Sorry about the tuning of the bass drone. It's been a bit dickey lately.

  • Great job, ausdag; you should be proud of yourself: few can play the Mornin' Thrush this well. And your tempo's about just what the manuscript calls for, if maybe just a pinch above; it does the tune justice. Hell; Mick O'Brien plays it a tad faster than this, and your execution's just as good as his. Keep it up, seriously.

  • Thanks Communitis :-) ...

  • I think people make a mistake in playing tunes to fast and loosing the expression. This is a perfect tempo to me.

  • Thanks Toby :-)
