@idontwantyouraccount Sad thing is that the work done in Mexico is much better than what you get in the stated, for a fifth of the price, like it or not...

Hello, just saw your comment here. I am from Minnesota, USA, and going to go to Mexico for dental work. I have never been there, and reading your comment made me feel better about my decision. Can you please, recommend me specific dentist who worked with you in Algadonas? P hone numbers or email for them? I am going to have my estimates done in U of MN for total cost, then planning to go to Mexico, maybe in March. PLEASE, write me back on mlus@usa.com Luse

5 yrs ago I went to Algadones to have some extensive work done on my teeth including root canals. Which I didn't know until I was sitting in the chair. I was recommended this dentist by friends and family so I felt safe. This is by far the worst decision I have ever made in my life. The root canals that they did were faulty and the crowns are total crap. I am know in the process of extracting those root canaled teeth. I am devastated by this don't go to Mexico for dental work.
The sheer fact that we US citizens would have to travel to a foreign country in order to get affordable medical, dental and prescriptions is the plight that our screwed-up US system has put us in! It is a dirty shame that we are cornered in this position! The dental health of this nation is DEPLORABLE! And deplorable dental health leads to other physical problems. Shame on our government, the richest government in the world?

My wife and I live in Los Angeles. We have been using a dentist (and his associates who do oral surgery, etc.) in Tijuana since 2002. The work has been excellent. What would have cost me 12 to 15 thousand for my wife has probably run about 4 thousand. The facilities are top notch. But for the predominance of Latinos working on your teeth, you'd think you're in the U.S. The facilities are just like what you'd find in the States. I pay $40 to get my teeth cleaned ea. time I go.
