After seeing, "The Mountain Dew Glow Stick" video, I needed to see for my self if it actually works. So I got all the supplies and tested it......... this is the video of the test and my results.

in the real video they do the thing where they empty the mountain dew and leave a little bit in the bottle and then the video is cut and they fill it with the liquid from a glow stick and that's it.

the original video of the mountain dew glow stick trick, they used a luminescence powder that reacts with hydrogen peroxide. you can probably get it at a teacher or science store or a hobby shop. good luck!
