I was walking on Little Ave. when it came through, Got to see it pass by standind between the Allendale Rec, Center and the Innisdale track. My buddy I was with managed to make it into the rec center while I just stood there and watched stuff flying in the air off in the distance.
This brings back so many memories. Was the scariest day of my life! We were driving a yellow Mustang and by the time we got to the hospital it was green from the grass. Never looked at another storm the same again.
I live in Barrie right now, and I'm doing a project on this tornado. I never knew how big it was, since I wasn't alive when it hit, and I feel so bad for the people who had to experience this horrible disaster. I have lived in Barrie all my life, and I hope another one doesn't occur. My fingers are crossed. I don't want anyone to experience one of these again...
my mom was walking home from shcool that year she almost got picked up by it

@zombiesuck14 Aww, that's horrible that it had to happen to all those people. But it's lucky that your Dad is still alive.

My dad stopped at webbers to get a burger and drove through Barrie 10 minutes after the tornado hit. Webbers saved his life.
