i did something similar lower tech, it worked alright for the most part. but this pretty, lacey plant i had went into shock when i put it in the artificial light

yah... i had a problem with some softer plants that freaked out with the excess in light. The best way ive found to do it is slowly raise the amount of light until you get good growth. happy it helped somewhat.

Why don't you just grow your plants emersed rather than all of that? Just simply cover the top and keep the humidity high and your plants should be fine... I'm actually using that same container as you but growing dhg emersed with just sunlight
