Clip from the short film "The World is a Classroom", a film by and starring independent "autobiographical" filmmaker Caveh Zahedi.
"The World is a Classroom" was made as part of "Underground Zero," an omnibus film in which independent filmmakers responded to the events of 9/11. "The World is a Classroom" documents a conflict between a teacher and a student in a classroom shortly after 9/11 to allegorically explore the wider conflict between the U.S. and Al Queda, as well as to explore the dynamics of power in any given conflict. It also attempts to suggest alternatives to the use of force as a solution to conflict.

Caveh I had not seen your films for a while and did a YouTube search to see what you were working on. I cannot tell if this is serious or comedic but at 0.48 you tell him it is not a "power thing" and that he "should leave" if he" don't see it the way I see it." Of course as the teacher you have all kinds of power over a student as you exhibit by asking him to leave while I don't think he or you would expect you to leave if he asked you to leave. I know you always welcome honest communication.
