@azynkron The Caddy and Auto Union engines were radically different engines for radically different purposes. And fuck you and your comments about "American car engineering". Cadillac made a fine V-16; the series 452 and 90 engines were well engineered. They also made an awesome 1000hp V-16 for their "Sixteen" concept car. Take a hike, daddio...

That car was totally financed and developed for the Nazi Party under Adolph Hitler's rule as part of Hitler's attempt to demonstrate German superiority to the world. It WAS a superior race car with government funding as compared to other competitors financed by private enterprise.
